Press Release
RHGN deploys 3,000 citizen observers for Edo off-cycle election

Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN) has announced the deployment of 3,000 trained citizen observers across all 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State ahead of the off-cycle governorship election.
The observers, drawn from RHGN's ward and polling unit structures, will run a parallel vote tabulation exercise and report polling unit incidents in real time to the movement's national situation room in Abuja.
According to the National Secretariat, every observer has completed a two-day accreditation and training programme covering the Electoral Act, BVAS procedures, and non-partisan conduct at polling units.
"Our goal is simple — a credible, transparent process that Nigerians can trust," the Secretariat said in a statement. "Citizen observation strengthens confidence in our democracy and supports the institutions delivering it."
RHGN urged all registered voters in Edo State to come out peacefully, verify their polling units early, and protect the integrity of the process by voting and waiting for results to be announced through official channels.
